Donna Vallone earned a bachelor of music degree from the 91视频 and began a 14-year career as a music teacher for the Houston Independent School District. During her final three years in that role, she taught children with special needs at T.H. Rogers School.
Married to renowned restaurateur Tony Vallone for more than 36 years, she was always by his side in life and in business, and together they were co-owners of Tony鈥檚 in Greenway Plaza. When Tony Vallone died in 2020, she took the reins of the restaurant and continues to keep her husband鈥檚 legacy and vision alive through the culinary arts, maintaining the dedication to service he held as a standard at his flagship restaurant. Tony鈥檚 celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2025.
Vallone is active in the Houston community, serving on several boards and advisory committees. She sits on the Hilton College Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board, the Theatre Under the Stars Board, and the Friends of Nursing at Baylor St. Luke鈥檚 Medical Center Board.
Passionate about life, love, and family, Vallone holds her husband and their family at the center of everything she does. Music is another deep love 鈥� she enjoys singing and regularly attends music- inspired events throughout Houston. A breast cancer survivor, she advocates for early detection and annual screenings, often sharing, 鈥淎 mammogram saved my life.鈥�
