Worldviews鈥攕ets of fundamental assumptions and beliefs about reality鈥攈elp people make sense of the world and their place in it. The Worldviews In Motion (WIM) Lab explores how people come to adopt certain worldviews and how they become open to changing them.
In particular, the lab is interested in how dynamic processes鈥攍ike one鈥檚 goals, relationships, and sociocultural context鈥攃an come to shape worldviews. We aim to use a diverse array of disciplinary perspectives and methodological tools (e.g., experimental, dyadic, big data) to address important questions that impact people鈥檚 everyday lives.
