Assistive Technology
Explore a range of Assistive Technology solutions at the Justin Dart Center to support students with disabilities.
To schedule a personalized session with our Assistive Technology Team, please email JDCAT@Central.uh.edu. If you are a registered student, you may contact your Access Coordinator directly. Once you've met with the Assistive Technology Team, you'll have access to the technology you're approved for. Then you'll have use of it for your exams, the classroom, and all your academic needs!
The Dart Center offers a variety of Assistive Technology options. Students on campus can download these technologies at no cost by logging into AccessUH and selecting 'Downloads.' Within the Assistive Technology section, you will find Jaws, ZoomText, and Fusion available for use.

- Braille Embosser
- Refreshable Braille Display
- Thermal Printing
- Text-to-Speech Software
- Speech-to-Text Software
