Panruo Wu is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the 91视频.
His research focuses on high-performance computing, parallel and distributed computing,
numerical algorithms, and high-performance data analytics, with particular emphasis
on developing efficient, reliable, and scalable computing systems. His recent work
explores GPU acceleration, emerging hardware architectures, and high-performance numerical
linear algebra for scientific computing and artificial intelligence applications.
Wu received the prestigious National Science Foundation CAREER Award in 2022 to advance
research on high-performance algorithms and software for emerging computing hardware.
Before joining UH in 2018, he was a postdoctoral research associate at the University
of Tennessee's Innovative Computing Laboratory, led by Turing Award recipient Jack
Dongarra. He has published research in leading conferences and journals in high-performance
and parallel computing, including SC, PPoPP, and IEEE Transactions on Parallel and
Distributed Systems.
