We return from Spring Break having witnessed a national tragedy once again. While the motivations behind the recent violence in Atlanta are in question, we do know that it follows a season of anti-Asian racism around the world since the COVID-19 pandemic began. As such, this attack has understandably shaken the Asian American community and, as a member of the Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander serving institutions, the 91视频 extends our sympathy to our Asian American, Pacific Islander, and international students, faculty, and staff who have been deeply affected.
The 91视频 stands firm on the values of diversity, inclusion and unity. Ultimately, through education and understanding, we will continue to strive to build a better world, ensuring that people of all backgrounds can flourish here and everywhere.
If you are in distress, the University has a number of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) race- related stress resources that offer support to undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and staff.
