Dr. Hanan Hammad, Arab American Educational Foundation Chair in Modern Arab History and Director of the AAEF Center of Arab Studies, has published a translation of her 2022 monograph from Stanford University Press. The Arabic translation of came out last month from , one of the leading independent publishers in the Arab world. Dr. Hammad worked with translator and writer Basma Nagy on this publication. The book was the publisher鈥檚 bestseller at the Cairo Book Fair.
